Good Morning Andrew…

 

I didn’t want to bug you with a text on the long weekend, but I just wanted to say THANKS. 

 

A shortsighted person might say Andrew's into nice clothes and designer styles...but the truth is much deeper. Your’e in the confidence game, the feel good about yourself game and teaching other people how to feel that way. I can’t tell you how many people make a remark to me about my “look” or my “style.”  I've never had that before. Never. 

 

I was reminded once again this morning to take a moment to say thanks to you. I get excited to wake up, get dressed in the morning and go out the door feeling great. I stopped at Starbucks this morning to pick up a cap for me and iced tea for Ann and as I always do when I walk in the door, I say “good morning” to the people behind the counter and "thank you," because people appreciate being treated as we would like to be treated. 

 

There were two barista’s standing together at the counter and one said out of the blue, “I love your style.” The other one said, “absolutely, I love that shirt.” Then the first woman said, “not only that, but the whole top to bottom...you are style.”  I wasn’t wearing anything special, just something nicely thought out that I’ve learned from watching you do the same in your closet in those IG stories. How nice of the two of them to verbalize what they were thinking.  

 

I’m turning 70 this year Andrew and I’ve never felt physically better and better about myself. And believe me, I’ve NEVER had any self esteem problems LOL but this is a whole new level of happiness and appreciation.

 

I just wanted you to know that. Have a great long weekend.
